la lutte contre la maladie d’Alzheimer #2 : Carmina Burana

Fin de la soirée pour la lutte contre la maladie d’Alzheimer. La Communauté d’Agglomération d'Evry centre (dans les arènes de l'agora) nous proposait "Carmina Burana" de Carl Orff par les chœurs et l'orchestre de Paul Kuentz (accompagnait exceptionnellement pour cette soirée avec le chœur d'enfants des écoles de Bretigny sur Orge), avec les solistes : Akemi Hirosaki (soprano colorature), Adrian Brand (ténor) et André Cognet (basse).End of the evening for the fight against Alzheimer's disease. The Community of Agglomeration of Evry we proposed center "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff by the chorus and orchestra Paul Kuentz (accompanied exceptionally for this evening with the choir of school children of Bretigny on Barley), with soloists: Akemi Hirosaki (coloratura soprano), Adrian Brand (tenor) and André Cognet (bass).Carl Orff Carmina Burana

Belle initiative, car comme nous restons en vie de plus en plus tard nous avons une malchance d'attraper cette terrible maladie, j'espère que d'ici là la recherche aura fait des progrets surtout pour toi, qui est bien jeune.

I have been away such a long time from your pages and what I see - a concert for Alzheimer, it makes me think.
I surely have been fantastic to hear in person that music.

CARMINA BURANA ! Ce devait être gorgeous ! C'est le genre d'oeuvre a absolument écouter en concert et donc en stéréo. J'avais une amie qui chantait dans une chorale "A Coeur Joie" et ils avaient fait un concert regroupant toutes les fédérations de France, je te dis pas !
Y avait BEAUCOUP plus de voix que sur ta photo !

Carmina Burana, et dire que Burana est une marque de cachets pour le mal de tête (au moins en Finlande, ici je ne sais pas, je ne prends "jamais" de cachets pour le mal de tête).

Carl Orff was Hitler's favourite, but it is one of mine too. No matter how many times you've heard Carmina Burana, it is impossible not to enjoy it again and again.

Je ne peux m'empêcher d'augmenter le volume de Camina Burana lorsque je l'écoute... c'est tellement prenant. Et pour la cause pareil on a besoin d'attirer l'attention.

This brought back memories for me. I was in the chorus for a performance of Carmina Burana years ago and enjoyed performing it so much. I envy you for all the concerts you get to attend!

my dad died of Alzheimer's on Aug 29 this year. he was 79 and had a good life but I still hate that cruel disease! Great cause & a wonderful moving piece of music. I saw it some 10 yrs ago in Long Beach, Ca.
