Exposition Sculptures KIA #2

Le pseudonyme KIA vient de son nom de famille CHIAVENUTO qui en italien se prononce KIAVENUTO.
KIA : "J'ai de profondes affinités avec cet élément : la terre ; modeler fait partie de moi. J'aime affronter les difficultés techniques, me battre avec la créature d'argile en devenir; c'est profondément jubilatoire."
Pseudonym KIA comes from its surname CHIAVENUTO which in Italian decides KIAVENUTO.
KIA: “I have deep affinities with this element: ground; to model belonged to me. I like to face the technical difficulties, to beat me with the clay creature in becoming; they is deeply merry. “

Exposition Sculptures KIA #1

Samedi 12 Janvier, il y avait une exposition de la sculptrice KIA (Catherine Chiavenuto) au jardin intérieur d'Evry. KIA est une sculptrice spécialiste de la terre. L'avantage des 'petites' expositions, c'est que l'on a un contact direct avec l'artiste, et ce fut un plaisir de découvrir KIA

La maison du silence et le jardin interieur

Au centre d'Evry et à coté du centre commercial de l'Agora, se trouve la Maison du Silence et le Jardin Interieur.
Ce lieu remonte à la création de la Ville Nouvelle d'Evry. Certaines personnes ont imaginées cette maison et son jardin pour être "loin des bruits de la ville".
Un lieu de calme, de rencontre, ouvert à tous le monde.
On y trouve des activités de relaxation, de Taïji Qi Gong Chen, des ateliers de peintures, d'écritures.
Philosophie du Jardin
Ce JARDIN doit rester un lieu de L'INTERIEUR
A l'intérieur de la ville, en plein centre de la ville mais où l'on peut s'abstraire des bruits de la ville, il est un lieu de silence, où l'on vient se reposer, se recueiller, méditer, ne serait-ce que quelques instants d'une journée ou d'une semaine.
A l'intérieur de soi-même chacun y est invité à se retrouver, à ouvrir son esprit et son coeur en quête de spiritualité.
Une invitation à la méditation pour mieux participer à la vie du monde.

The house of silence and the interior garden.
In the center of Evry and the shopping centre of the Agora, is the House of Silence and the Interior Garden.
This place goes up with the creation of the New City of Evry. Certain people imagined this house and its garden to be “far from the noises of the city”.
A place of calms, of meeting, opened in all the world.

Philosophy of the Garden

This GARDEN must remain a place of the INTERIOR.
Inside the city, in full center of the city but where one can abstract oneself from the noises of the city, it is a place of silence, where one comes to rest, recueiller, to meditate, this would be only a few one day moments or one week.
Inside oneself each one is invited there to find itself, to open its spirit and its heart in search of spirituality.
An invitation with the meditation for better taking part in the life of the world.
