La premiere ;-)

Olivier, did you take those wonderful photos? How did you frame them like this? Very nice, indeed.

(ps I noticed in your profile that you like Ed McBain - moi aussi!)

A very different mosque. The matting is wonderful, I agree!

I agree too. Love the post processing. Love the composition in the first two.

A mon tour aujourd'hui d'évoquer un poète:

"C'était, dans la nuit brune,
Sur le clocher jauni
La lune
Comme un point sur un i"
Musset

Agree with Kate. The mosque looks different but it's beautiful.

Happy to see we are both posting about the moon. It makes us all feel closer. Glad to see Evry has done the right thing by providing muslims with a proper worship place.

Olivier, thanks to your keen power of observation (and humor) I changed the name of my post today from Siesta to Lookout :-))) It makes more sense...Merci!

And how clever of you to make the Matthew Hope connection! Indeed, he practised law in Calusa, FL, the town named after Calusa Indians who lived in my neck of the woods, around Estero Bay. Bravo!!!
