To finish this a little special visit, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Essonne version Roy Lichtenstein

It is, according to the legend, to answer a challenge launched by her son, that Roy Lichtenstein, carries out in 1961 its first table according to the comic strip, heading Look Mickey!
The artist, whose work is located then directly in mobility Pop Art, takes as a starting point the the comics, of their mechanical technique (black contours, saturated colors, synthetic drawing…), while preserving a traditional technique of oil-base paint. He says to want to preserve the great energy and the expressivity of the data base (Whaam! , 1963).

Thanks for this reference to Roy Lichtenstein. I think his art represents our times, don't you?

I think it's because it is a wee bit late, and I'm a bit loopy but the building on the left reminds me of a pair of dentures. Weird, huh?

L'horloge of course me plait toujours autant (quoique moins huge que celle de Cergy, non ?)

the treament works well with this structure. However, the polka dots reminded me of a wrapper of a candy..

(Oui, bon week-end!)

Again, another great take on an artist. I envy your creativity.

You're right. It was not a good idea to post that piece of 17th C decayed oak without an expanation. I had a timber class on Wednesday and have misplaced my ID paper. I was buying time until I could properly ID it.

I think you are right that it is best to take it down.

When I reload it, or others, I will label it properly.
