Evry version pop art #4 : La Cathedrale (A.Warhol)

La cathedrale d'evry mode Andy Warhol version 'Marilyn Monroe'
The cathedral of evry mode Andy Warhol version “Marilyn Monroe”

Some quotations of Warhol:
+ In the future: everyone will have its fifteen minutes of celebrity.
+ Any publicity is a good publicity.
+ When one thinks there, the department stores are a little like museums.
+ I like the boring things. I like that the things are exactly similar still and still.
+ the press, it should not be read, it should be weighed.
+ an artist is a person who creates things whose people do not need but, for an unspecified reason, it thinks that it would be a good idea to bring to them.
+ To be good in businesses, it is the most attractive form of art.
+ All the pictures should be same size and same color so that they would be interchangeable and that nobody would have the feeling to have a good or bad.

I like some of Warhols things like the Campbell soup can and Marilyn Monroe pictures. I like your works here too. Nicely done.

I took some rainy-day photographs, yesterday, that are very unusual. You might be interested in seeing them.

My first visit on your blog. Really good and interesting! I appreciate very much your references to art.

It's amazing how interesting you can make the different visits of Evry.

(We had a small discussion about Jean Nouvel the other day on another blog.)

I just recently started a blog, where I mostly, in a more traditional way, have tried to have a closer look on the area of Paris to which I just moved : Batignolles.

You are welcome to have look!

bravo
