The insane day of overconsumption :
Saturday, on the terraces of the agora of Evry (the shopping centre), the students, of the IUP of Evry, proposed an operation of sensitizing on waste, the suremballages, publicities, etc…
Une fanfare animait la journée.
A brass band animated the day.

Wow! I like the band, especially with the horn like instrument the curls up!

Nice!

I think that if I continue to visit your blog at the very least I will become trilingual, because I already speak Spanish and English. That looks like a fun time.

I just found out from Sally in Sydney that June 2 was the World Environmental Day - I guess Evry participated with gusto! Bravo to the young people acting responsibly!!!

Sally a dit…

I really, really like that poster, Olivier.

Bravo for the students. I will try and learn from their actions.

Love the poster. Your town seems to have alot of great activity. Great photo opportunities.

nice poster you've got there, reminds me of a time when we used to do everything by hand, without the help of computer graphics...btw i like your new profile pic

I wish I would have been there - looks like fun. I wish I had that poster on my wall at school -- I really like it.

Yes, June 2 was obvioulsy supposed to be a World Environmental Day. What actions were taken elsewhere? Evry is obviously a very active place - and you don't miss any event!

Magnifique, magnifique!!!!

I like your presentation today. It is interesting and the photos are very well done.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate seeing your name there.

What a good idea and thanks Olivier for showing us these pictures. It's so important to recycle and use less. You always show us such interesting events in Evry! Merci!

Yeah, there is always something going on in your city! Very cool.
It is great that they had a good turnout for this good cause.

Bergson a dit…

it is necessary that the young people show the way

This is such a good idea to make people aware of the environment. We don't do as much in my town but there are spot ads on TV a lot about recycling.

Hello

Your todays post is in ligne with mine. Recycling...
I'm surprised to see how young generation are involved in future and ecology.
A very good thing for our common life.

What a good idea!!

I read in the New York Times recently that some restaurants in California are trying to stop serving bottled flat and sparkling water because of the waste created by plastic bottles. Instead, they are serving their own filtered and sparkling water made at the restaurant.
