Hier soir, au Centre d’Arts Sacrés d’Evry de la cathédrale d'Evry, il y avait une soirée du "printemps des poètes" avec lecture de poèmes, musiques, et une danse flamenco. Premier post, avec de la danse flamenco, un magnifique moment, avec la danseuse (et lectrice) Elise Pouchelet.Last night at the arts center of the sacred cathedral of Evry, there was an evening of "Spring of Poets" with poetry readings, music, and dance flamenco. Pour cloturer l'exposition des oeuvres de frere Yves, le centre d'arts sacrè proposait un récital de violon de Maria Balladyna Ciszewska (violoniste titulaire à l'Orchestre Lamoureux).

For cloturer the exposure of works of brother Yves, the center of sacred arts proposed a recital of violin of Maria Balladyna Ciszewska (titular violonist with the Lamoureux Orchestra).

Exposition des oeuvres de frere Yves #2

........Après avoir terminé ses études secondaires, il suit les cours de l'Académie des beaux-arts de Valenciennes. C'est au cours de ces années d'étude qu'il ressent l'appel à la vie monastique qui le mène à l'Abbaye bénédictine de la Pierre-qui-Vire. Il y découvre les richesses de l'art roman grâce au père Angelico SURCHAMP qui fonda l'Atelier du Coeur Meurtry et les Éditions Zodiaque.
Le mouvement, la simplicité, le respect de la surface plane propres à l'art roman le marque profondément et c'est dans cet esprit que, de ses longues heures de méditation sur les grands textes où s'enracine la foi chrétienne, frère Yves tire ses peintures.

Le Centre National d'Art Sacre de la cathédrale présentait une exposition "Quand l'Art sacre contemporain prend sa source dans l'art roman" des œuvres de Frère Yves de la communauté bénédictine de l'Abbaye de la Pierre qui Vire (Yonne).
Frère Yves, Pierre VITRY, est né en 1923 à Valenciennes. Il perd son père à l'âge de quatre ans, sa mère à l'âge de dix ans. Cette dernière a pourtant eu le temps de lui communiquer son goût pour le dessin.....(Suite demain)

Ce mois d'octobre, il y a une exposition du Sculpteur sur bois coréen Park Chan-Soo, a l'occasion du 120eme anniversaire des relations diplomatiques entre la France et la Corée.
