The B&W makes this portrait special. Carnaval's are so much fun! Everyone seems to get into the spirit.

I really like this portrait, Olivier. I think it is one of the best I have ever seen.

I love that picture!
You have a great weekend, too. :)

wonderful portrait! the b&w gives it the right touch.

Bon we!

Sally a dit…

He looks rather unhappy, or maybe just deep in contemplation.

Was Felix the Cat Australian? Find out at Sydney Daily Photo!

Neat pic, the old dude with a pretty flower in his hat.

This is such a great photo. There he is looking ever so serious with the giant sunflower on his hat at such a jaunty angle!! You have to wonder what he is thinking.

Halcyon a dit…

Il est tres serieux pour un carnaval! Il faut sourire, juste un peu. :)

Thérèse a dit…

Beau coup d'oeil.

Lovely portrait, Olivier!

I hope you have a good weekend too. I've one more day at work then my husband and I are off on a short trip. I'm going to cheat next week and post photos of Baguio City rather than Manila. :)

What a amazing portrait.. I Love the black and Whites.. Definately one for the wall..

His serious expression is quite a contrast to his fanciful outfit! I love this portrait. Good idea to use the black and white.

Olivier,
I'm sorry, I don't speak even passable French. I did live in Beaulieu-sur-Mer when I was a small child and have very happy memories.
You're a wonderful photographer.

This is a prize winning portrait Olivier. Black and white brings out the character.
Have a wonderful weekend.

That's a fabulous portrait - I love the sunflower, it's so quirky!

And 'bon weekend' to you too!
