le Manège carré Senart #2

Le manège fait 18 mètres de côté, sa superficie de plus de 300 m2, son point culminant à près de 14 mètres et son poids de 40 tonnes. Il peut accueillir 49 personnes à chaque tour. Ce manège prend toute sa dimension en mouvement, mais son caractère monumental constitue déjà une attraction.
The carousel is 18 metres aside, its area of more than 300 m2, its climax about 14 metres and its 40 tonne weight. He can receive 49 persons in every tower. This carousel takes all its dimension in movement, but its monumental character already constitutes a charm.

I enlarged the photos expecting lovely animals all around. Yikes, those are some scary creatures! Don't let the enfants get a load of those up close. Hope the animals on the carousel are a little friendlier.

Je suis obligée de bosser hard dès mon retour (j'ai retrouvé la photo de mon manège car j'avais la flemme de faire mon message d'auj et que c'était l'occase de la montrer. Je l'ai dans mes cartons depuis plus d'un an !)

Comme Victoria, j'ai tout d'abord pensé que ces thèmes d'illustration devaient effrayer les enfants...Mais les enfants sont plus habitués aux monstres et aux zombies en tout genre!

Très nostalgique, ces carroussels. J'aime bien, moi. Ils ont choisi une emblème très bizarroïde: des poissons sèchés dont on voit les arrêtes, groovy.
