What a sad thing to happen to le château des tourelles. Such a beautiful chateau, how can anyone have the heart to set it on fire. They must have no love for old and beautiful things.

In my observations (ever since I started living in France), any work or renovation being done in France takes a long long long long time for it to be completed. :)

Turrets are so interesting to see, and to live in. It would be nice to have a round room of my own.

Somedays one is too busy to do the ordinary routines. Tomorrow though will be an easier pace.

Bonjour Olivier!

A work in (painfully slow) progress, I guess... If they can't get this lovely little château restored in seven months, I don't want to know how long it'd take them to restore l'Arc de Triomphe!

Pretty photos. I am happy to see that you still have old buildings in Evry. The castle looks funny, it is so flat :-))

I have always thought it would be a nice place to drink a cup of coffee and read a book or the newspaper -- high up in a turrent. Nice photo.

I hope they have it restored soon. It certainly is beautiful and it will make a lovely park one day.

I guess people take it easy and go easy too, that's why things take a long time to get started or finished.

It looks like a nice place to visit!
