I am surprised to see American football on your site. Is this a local team?

Yes, the American football is very surprising. How many teams are there? Are there many French people who enjoy this sport? Somehow, I don't think there will be a match in the Stade de France very soon. These are good sports action shots - your shutter speed was just right.

C'est intéressant, le foot US à Evry. Tu as pris beaucoup de bonnes photos!

Interesting -- here, football ends in January. It's hard to imagine it in May. :)

Oliver, I am surprised to see this photo...are you sure you didn't take it the last time you were in the US (I'm teasing!)

JaamZIN a dit…

its really strange to see it in France..but Olivier...where are the fans? No people there?

I have the feeling that you are half American (or only NYC?) in your mind, so not surprised to find these photos of this, in France, obscure sport (nobody around to watch it). Looking forward to the Rugby World Chamionships in September!

Referring to Lynn's message yeterday, I obviously managed to beat you timewise (probably not qualitywise) about the "door theme". It's on my blog today.

Kate: yes the team of the corsairs and well the team of foot American of Evry

Strangetastes: In France there are 3 divisions. Each division with two conferences and each conference between 4 and 6 teams. It should be known that it is a sport amateur, and that unfortunately, it does not attract many people.

Zsolt and Peter: Not there is nobody in the steps of the stage. the rare fans are around the lawn. But there are no communication and no publicity to see the matches, therefore nobody comes. Besides some photo hobbyists, a little the family and two pigeons

Is this still France?
Just kidding....
Yeah...the world is flat.
Nice photographs!

It is a shame or sad that the matches are not advertised in some way. It would seem to me the teams would be pleased to see some fans. Maybe they need sponsors to advertise the games for them.

Not many "nul" scores in the US - we go to overtime...
Will you see the Giants or the Jets during your visit to NY?

Tu y comprends quelque chose à ce sport? Alors là, je te tire mon chapeau!

Anonyme a dit…

Voilà un sport viril mais néanmoins passionnant! Belles photos, surtout celles du touchdown.

These are some very fine action photos, Olivier.

Olivier-on several occasions you have showcased your sports photography. These images are so very very good...is this your profession? Excellent timing and it just feels like you're right on top of the action. Very well done!

I didn't know they play American foodball outside of US.

Are any of the players Americans?

Cergie a dit…
