Un concours d'architecture fut lancé en mai 1971 sous le nom d'Evry 1.C'est le projet pyramide qui gagna : quartier calme car loin des axes routiers, près du centre commercial, des zones piétonnes partout.
Tous les logements possedaient une terrasse. La proximité des équipements collectifs dans le quartier etait une grande nouveauté en 1974.

The District of the Pyramids with Evry: The Public garden of the Dragon (2/5).A contest of architecture was launched in May 1971 under the name of Evry 1.
It is the pyramid project which gained: district calms it is far from the road axes, beside the shopping centre, pedestrian precincts everywhere.
All the residences had a terrace. The proximity of the utility services in the district was a great innovation in 1974.
