C’est, selon la légende, pour répondre à un défi lancé par son fils, que Roy Lichtenstein,exécute en 1961 son premier tableau d’après la bande dessinée, intitulé Look Mickey !
L’artiste, dont l’œuvre se situe alors directement dans la mouvance Pop Art, s'inspire des comics, de leur technique mécanique (contours noirs, couleurs saturées, dessin synthétique...), tout en conservant une technique classique de peinture à l’huile. Il dit vouloir conserver la grande énergie et l’expressivité de la BD (Whaam !, 1963). Roy Lichtenstein meurt à New York en 1997 des suites d’une pneumonie.

Blizzard sous Évry Suite :
Trois photos de la 'petite tempête' de neige sur la ville d'Évry, Photos du clos de la cathédrale et de l'immeuble de la chambre de commerce de l'Essonnes.
Malheureusement je n'ai pas pu prendre plus de photos. J'espère que la neige va retomber bientôt..;o)
