Sur la propriété Bataille, on trouve le château bataille et les ateliers d’arts plastiques de la Communauté d’Agglomération d’Evry.
En entrée de la propriété, cette superbe création (des étudiants de l'atelier) : le plan de la ville d'Evry fait en mosaïque.
On the grounds of the "Chateau Bataille", the Visual Arts Workshops of Evry township are currently doing an exhibition.
Entering the property ,you will find a beautiful map of Evry, done by the students ,in mosaïc. (*)

Attention peinture fraîche : Dans Évry Village, l'école élémentaire Albert Levasseur (J'ai cherché sur internet une biographie de Mr Levasseur et j'ai juste trouvé qu'il avait été professeur à l'école supérieur d'électricité). Un jeu d'ombre entre ce vieux panier de basket et la fresque murale.
Mind the wet paint : In Evry Village Elementary School Albert Levasseur (I searched on the Internet a biography of Mr. Levasseur and I just found that he had been professor at the Higher School of electricity). A set of shadow between the old basket and the mural.

La Pagode Khanh-Anh : Pleine lune #2

Les travaux avancent (fin toujours prévu pour 2010) et la pagode Khanh-Anh prend de belles couleurs. Elle veut se faire belle pour la venu du Dalaï Lama. Le 12 aout risque d'être une journée difficile pour circuler dans Évry, car le même jour, il y aura aussi le final du 8éme tour de France VTT. (Comme tout cela, se passera en journée, je louperais les deux évènements ;o( ).Works advance (at the end always envisaged for 2010) and the pagoda Khanh-Anh takes nice colours. La Pagode Khanh-Anh : Pleine lune #1

Rencontre de la pagode Khanh-Anh d'Evry avec la pleine lune.
Grande nouvelle pour tous les bouddhistes d'ile de france, le mardi 12 aout, le Dalaï Lama viendra visiter et bénir la pagode de la congrégation bouddhique vietnamienne Khanh Anh. (Il devait déjà venir, il y a deux ans, mais trop fatigué, il avait annulé sa visite). Je pense qu'il sera impossible d'approcher la pagode ce jour là.

Apero-Concert a la Maison de Quartier Jacques Prevert

Depuis quelques années, dans la quartier des pyramides d'Evry, la maison de quartier Jacques Prevert propose, pendant le mois de juillet, des apéros-concert. Vendredi dernier, au Square Jacques Prevert (autour de la sculpture "papa square") la maison de quartier nous offrais un concert de Reggea-groove-oriental avec le chanteur Rafik et son groupe. Soirée très sympathique, qui permet aux habitants du quartier de mieux se connaitre. A suivre.....
