Pour ce thème du mois, direction le cimetière russe de Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (que je vous avais présenté en Decembre 2006 ). J'ai longtemps hésité, entre les superbes tombes de Madame de Lens, de Noureev, le monument des anciens combattants russes de Gallipoli, etc... que des œuvres impressionnantes et sublimes. Et puis en me promenant dans ce cimetière, j'ai trouvé cette tombe, où la nature avait repris ces droits. Elle est simple mais........Petite question, qui de l'arbre ou de la tombe etait là le premier ?
For this topic of the month, direction the Russian Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois cemetery (that I had presented to you in December 2006). Oliver, this is a great post with symbolism and beautiful unique crosses as well ... One of the new trends in the US are green cemeteries. One near where we live plants trees next to every grave site when a loved one is buried. All caskets are bio-degradable and those buried there can not be embalmed ... personally I like the idea a lot.

Ta photo du jour cadre bien avec mon esprit du moment, je suis fatiguée et j'ai envie de repos, je ne sais pas si c'est l'automne qui me fait un effet pareil, mais je suis toute mou mou...Mais je ne pense pas encore aller dans ce lieu si calme, j'ai encore plein de photos à publier sur mon blog, et beaucoup de choses à lire et voir sur celui des autres.

C'est peut-être la tombe de quelqu'un qui aimait se promener dans les bois. Beau pin d'ailleurs. Il pourra grandir encore beaucoup.

Ton mort au pin, il a plus de chance que Musset. On a renoncer à planter son saule qui crève tout le temps au père lachaise et Brassens, il a des ifs en guise de pin parasol...
J'aime l'intrusion de la vie (avec les fleurs vivaces et les plantes) auprès de la mort...
I agree that it's so difficult to make a choice when photographing a tomb - the choice is incredible. I love your photos and would guess the tombs came first?

RépondreSupprimerEn effet, pas très jojo le thème de ce mois! Mais j'apprécie que tu arrives quand même à trouver une touche d'humour et de poésie. Quant à ta question, je dirais que la tombe fut là la première et les descendants bien inspirés plantèrent un petit conifère pour la garnir. Petit conifère qu'on leur aurait certifié comme miniature. ;) Bon mois d'octobre, Olivier!

I've come across many graves obscured by a tree or shrub planted nearby long ago that has now taken over the site so that the stones can't easily been seen. I love the Orthodox crosses you show, too. Like your photo from yesterday, my grave for today is of a famous martial arts practitioner! Great photos!

Those are very interesting tombstones. They look different than the ones we have here. It is interesting to look at the grave markers in old cemeteries. You can learn a lot about a place. I think the tree is taking over though!

I must say I think the tree was planted between the graves possiblyby the family of one of the graves--perhaps they purchased the plot for the tree to provide eternal shade for their loved one resting there.
