To this day I have not been able to photograph lightining. My daughter did get an awesome shot once. I love black and white pictures although I don't experiment much with them.
very cool & dramatic! My dad lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil where they get lots of thunderstorms during the summer. He sits on the balcony on the 19th floor and tries to capture shots of the lightning. He sent me a really cool picture of the lightning a few weeks ago. your picture turned out really well, and it reminds me of our apt. in Brazil (the main difference is that there are many more tall buildings over there....) I love watching thunderstorms from a high rise building!
Hi Olivier, I've tried to visit your website several times, but each time it made my Firefox (on Mac OS X) crash so I stopped coming. Right now, in order to leave this comment to thank you for your visit to my Villigen blog I've had to turn off all images, and have had to disable all Java and JavaScript in my browser. So, the only photo I saw was the thumbnail on the portal: it did look spectacular. :-)
Coool Olivier, tu nous as garde un plat de choix pour ce jour de fete! Ce sont des merveilles ces photos, bravo! Comme toujours c'est un plaisir de venir ici, il y a toujours des surprises!
Amazing! A photo of lightning. Its the same here in Mumbai. I tried to get the lightning yesterday but due to the storm, I had to sit in with my li'l Krrish.
Absolutely stunning! Reminds me of the weather we have been having here recently. Greetings from Toruń Daily Photo here in Poland. Thanks for visiting us! Today we are being bowled over! having recently!
I just saw the greeting to your mom (Sunday)! Very confusing with these different dates for Mothers Day. I tried to do something for my mother, living in Sweden and I just understood, when I called her today that in Sweden it was last week. You need an international calender! Anyhow, better late than never?
That's a very spectacular and dramatic sight from your room.

RépondreSupprimerLet's guess. You were taking photo of the view from your bedroom and the lightning got in the way, right?
Exact same thing happened to Kim @ Seattle's Photo on the same day. A seaplane got in her way. What a coincidence!
