Fantastic pictures. Yellow colour is so good and the boat is fantastic. It looks like this man is really enjoying the work on the boat although he is having a cup of coffee in the last picture. No doubt he thinks he is having a very well deserved break. Great, great selection of pictures. You managed to tell us a really nice story. Well done Olivier!

Souvent ces péniches sont très coquettes et cet homme que tu montres nous prouve son amour de son outil de travail qui est aussi sa demeure
Il y a beaucoup de mariniers retraités à Conflans J'habitais à Eragny à un moment et dans le bois près de chez nous il y avait une masure avec un vieil homme
Je suis toujours émue quand je pense à lui J'aimais qu'il me raconte sa vie. Mais dans son viel âge il était bien isolé Il me disait regarder la télé jusqu'au bout de la nuit...

RépondreSupprimerI love the flower pot inside his cab and the fact that he's drinking (coffee I presume) from a china cup (as opposed to a paper/plastic one). You French really know how to live!

Pour repondre à ming_the_merciless, non je n'ai jamais voyage en peniche. je n'ai pas le pied marin et je prefere notre bonne vieille terre.
