Fantastic pictures. Yellow colour is so good and the boat is fantastic. It looks like this man is really enjoying the work on the boat although he is having a cup of coffee in the last picture. No doubt he thinks he is having a very well deserved break. Great, great selection of pictures. You managed to tell us a really nice story. Well done Olivier!

GREAT PICTURES! We have similiar subjects today but your person is actually doing real work. It looks great...well framed.
Cheers.

Men at work is a wonderful theme and you have done the theme justice today. This is a very nicely done tribute to a mariner.

Olivier! What a great series of photos! And I love how the last shot shows this hard-working person drinking coffee.
Beautiful!

Beautiful colours... great storyline of shots, well done!

I think I could enjoy working on a boat if it were not for the smell.

Great post - if you slide you mouse over the series of photos quickly, it becomes a movie "Homme au travail", with music and all ;-)

I love the flower pot inside his cab and the fact that he's drinking (coffee I presume) from a china cup (as opposed to a paper/plastic one). You French really know how to live!

Good job, Olivier!

Very nice pictures! One of my "to do list" is to rent a barge and sail it around the canals in France.

Have you done that??

Olivier a dit…

To answer ming_the_merciless, not I never travelled by barge. I do not have the marine foot and I prefer our good old ground.
